I've heard there may be ways to getįirefox to work with 2-series xpanels. I'm trying to create an xpanel desktop shortcut for a client whoseĭefault browser is Firefox. Visit ControlWorks at InfoComm 2006 - Booth 617 "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE "Ĭrestron Authorized Independent Programmer Make sure that the path to IE and the processor's name/IP address are not in the same set of quotes, for example you DO NOT want: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" "172.16.1.1" If it's still not working, try surrounding the processor's IP address in a new set of quotation marks, for example: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" Probably the easiest thing to do is to create a shortcut to Internet explorer (C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe, unless someone's changed the defaults), then right click the shortcut -> properties and then add a space and the IP address to the end of the target make sure that there's a space between the final quotation mark and hte processor IP address. I can't help with the Firefox question, but on the shortcut front.
